Marble is one of the most sought after – but inaccessible – building materials in the world; it is desired for its natural beauty and elegance, but inaccessible because it is prohibitively expensive for most normal properties.
The marbles that are remotely affordable often have inferior strength, durability and porosity, yet are still typically more expensive than high quality carpets or mid-range wooden floors.
This is where Majestic Light is nothing less than a game-changer, and why it has become the material of choice for property developers, contractors and architects; firstly it is stronger, more durable and has superior porosity values than leading global luxury marble types, yet is actually less expensive than some mid-range wooden floor options.
Imagine that; offering a premium, differentiated product for a higher market price than competitors, whilst actually saving costs at the same time.
A high quality natural stone must also look special, if not spectacular, and whilst taste is a subjective matter, few can argue that Majestic Light is a marble of considerable beauty and elegance. Another benefit of Majestic Light is that it is a safe design choice, as it is essentially an elegant marble of universal, objective appeal. It is a broadly neutral light (usually white) shade of marble with grey or beige streaks and details, and is the perfect style of marble to appeal to broad bases of customers, from ultra-high net worth hotel visitors or luxury home buyers, to home owners of quality mass-market homes. It is of no surprise that Majestic White is used in some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, in office skyscrapers, as well as in various categories of housing schemes.
Majestic Light will also help you or your clients make significant savings to your annual heating bills, compared to carpets or wooden floors, as it is an excellent conductor, retainer and radiator of stored heat, making it perfectly suited to modern underfloor heating systems. It also of course lasts much longer and is more moisture and damp resistant than carpet or wood, meaning further life-cycle savings for you or your customers, as well as better hygiene.
Despite every single slab of marble produced always being unique from another – marble is, after all, a product of mother nature – choosing your Majestic Light order is easier than it may appear to be for those new to ordering marble; after viewing the latest batch sample photographs or visiting a show site in London or the South East of England (for clients based in or able to visit Britain), we will select a brand new, freshly quarried batch of the marble which matches your selection as closely as possible.
We will then finish the marble as per your requirements; polished or unpolished, in slabs or in pre-cut tiles. We recommend buying all marble from us unpolished, as it will be more cost effective for you to polish your marble floors and/or facades on site, and after having them fitted. We also recommend buying slabs for lobbies, atria, ballrooms, and other large spaces, and tiles for smaller spaces such as individual rooms and corridors.
We can usually cut tiles to a variety of sizes using our state-of-the-art machinery, however this does cost more and increases lead times, than when ordering in slabs (slabs are effectively giant tiles, which you can cut to size, on site, as you wish).
The marble, whether in tile form or slab form, will be carefully packaged, insured for the additional security of your investment, and delivered by our world-class logistics partners to ensure that you receive your precious cargo with peace of mind. For brand new batch orders, delivery typically takes between 6-8 weeks for Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, 7-9 weeks for Europe, and 9-11 weeks for the US. We do, however, often deliver goods well ahead of these timeframes, whenever possible.
